Inspection Cover for draining Torque Converter

Hey guys,
My transmission has a flex plate cover with an inspection cover in the lower center of it. Should this cover go under the flex plate cover or over it?

Yes, that looks good.


If you put it under the outer one, it would sorta defeat the purpose of having an inspection plate and you would have to fight it to remove it.

I've seen a couple over the years, most were on the earlier transmissions 67-69 in that time frame.
