Instrument Cluster Bezel Cleaning

Hello,
What is the best method of restoring/cleaning an instrument cluster bezel? I want to keep it as original as possible, any tricks or cleaning tips are appreciated. Thanks

Don't use isopropyl alcohol. That's all I know.

Instrument Specialists does a real nice job, but NOT CHEAP.

Trying to keep it original is tough, assuming you're like the average "DIY'er" here, using the best supplies available....be prepared to accept a compromise.

I'm always looking to trade-up with gauge clusters. I've spent weeks trying to get the spray can chrome to look right. Don't know why they can show the "cap" with a beautiful chrome.....and it always comes out as grey paint. That's why you find so many custom dash'es. If you can't make it original. try to make it nice

EZ Off oven cleaner with the yellow cap works well to strip it.
