Did you make sure your cable ain't broke on yours the cable could be bad

Checked the cable and it still operates smoothly.

Okay check your speedometer gear in the transmission which you should be a half inch boat to 7 to Take 5 minutes.

There's three different types of speedometer they can be in that car if you need to post a photo what you need

cluster depends on build date. early cars have no indicator lights to the left, late has seat belt lights.
