I was doing some wiring work and decided to remove my instrument panel. One thing led to another and I completely disassembled the instrument panel and refurbished it. I removed the clear dull plastic using my soldering iron on the little plastic rivets. Washed all the dust and dirt from the instrument faces. I wet sanded the plastic front housing after removing all the wood grain contact paper. Painted the main cluster with Krylon Flat black then freehand the trim face with silver model paint. Repainted all the needles. Installed new contact wood vinyl ,polished all the clear facing for instruments and glued them back in using Goop. Replaced all the instrument bulbs. Cleaned all the contacts on circuit board and switches. Looks decent now. Here are some pics.
