Intake Question

Hi all, I have a intake question would a 68 340 inkake work on my 75 318. I found a great deal on one. your help would be appreciated.

The ports will be larger, but it will fit.

The nipple on the front of the intake that attaches the smaller curved hose is smaller than the 1970-up versions, you will need to make sure you clamp the hose on it tight so it don't leak, (the hose is bigger than the nipple). I used a 68 340 intake on my 318 and did the same thing, no problems!

Or you could swap the nipple from your 2 bbl intake onto the 68. Or buy a 68 bypass hose and stretch it to fit the later water pump.
