Intake with Offset Thermostat Housing for Rotary Compressor

1. When was the intake with the offset thermostat housing for use with the rotary compressor first offered? I recall having an 82 Mirada with a 2 barrel having that configuration.

2. Was it offered in an OEM 4 barrel style?

I have a t-q manifold that is dated
9 2 80. It is the one in my avatar.
Not sure if that helps you. I was told that it came off of a 360.
It has the small offset thermostat as well.
