In some other thread I said I had come back from MI, and was working at a local chain building center store. Well, my 2nd cousin offered me a job at a machine shop his dad and him have. His dad, while not a gear head has quite a few cars and motorcycles. Yesterday, Friday the 5th, he asked if I would like to make a few bucks working on his cars. Simply pulling batteries out of a Ford Model T, and an old Ford F100, but cool to do something as simple as that. Only with the Model T it was not as simple as open the hood and pull the battery. Had to remove a wooden cover over the battery, opened the passenger door to help with that, being careful of some real old Harley! Like I said, maybe not a big deal for some, but for me it was. I know how difficult it can be to have someone else working on the toys.
