Hey all.

Continuing the work on my 1964 Valiant. This is getting ahead of myself as I have several mechanical items to still work through yet but wanted to ask the question here:

The Windsor built, 1964 Valiant is a Plymouth front clip with a Dart GT back end on it. This results is a 111" wheelbase versus a 106" wheelbase.

The question I have is where does that additional 5" end up? Rear leg room, Front leg room? Assuming it is in the interior and not engine or behind the rear seat.

The reason I am asking:
The carpet that is in the car currently just doesn't seem to fit correctly which makes me wonder if the prior owner didn't purchase U.S. Valiant (106" Wheelbase) carpet if in fact the difference in dimension results in some increased interior length.

Interested in thoughts and if someone with a U.S. built Signet Convertible could throw a tape measure from the back of the bucket seat bracket to the base of the rear, bench seat.

I threw a tape measure down and my car does indeed have a 111" wheelbase
The distance between the back end of the bucket seat track and the rear seat base is 18 3/4"
