I'm looking for the piece of molding or weather stripping that would go on the body side of the door that runs from the pop out window down under the sill plate and back up the a pilar, believe its a u shape ones I have seen are pretty firm like a plastic or harder rubber not like the door weather strips.

Can anyone tell me what that piece is called and who sells it?

Thanks

With a little searching you should be able to find different colors.

Thanks Alan,

I did find some of the windlace, but have a couple more questions.

So the only pieces I’ve seen specifically for a 1970 duster are 2 ft long. I’m guessing it’s only at the bottom of the door under the sill plate.

I looked at a 73 and the windlace pieces appear to be about 4’ long. Goes from top of the back of the door down and across the bottom and up to where the plastic a pilar trim is. Do the 70’s fit the same as the 73 or do the 70’s only have that 2 foot piece at the bottom?

Thanks

The two door hardtops the trim only goes on the quarter from the beltline down and only tucks under the sill a 1/2" or so
Sedans (post cars) in goes around most of the door opening.
