Who says Intrepid's aint got power? This is a first gen too, haha. My favorite part is the gear slam from drive to reverse without letting off the pedal. :burnout:

That poor transaxle.

I cant decide which one is cooler ....the front wheel drive or the rear wheel drive pedal power :jocolor::jocolor::jocolor::jocolor:

Agreed. Doing a stunt like that is a good way to destroy any transmission. Let alone a poor Chrysler Transaxle, Most FWD Mopar Transaxles from the 1980's to Present are known to launch the pin out of the differential under normal use (I always pulled the cover when I bought a FWD Mopar and welded the pin to keep it from launching into the case). Under heavy abuse, that's just begging for a hole in the side of the transaxle.

The 3.5's have plenty of power in an Intrepid. The 2.7's are a dog in that big of a car. The 2.7 in my parents Sebring has plenty of power for that smaller car.

I don't think they cared ....I hate to be abusive to any car just cuz ....but I have to admit that I beat up a 93 Geo storm like that once .....I was amazed at the abuse it took before it finally died ....me and my cousins were running bets how long it would last ...I lost the bet because I didn't think it was going to last half as long as it did.

some cars will amaze you with what they can actually take. :-?
