I'm going to eventually buy a new engine harness for my 65 Valiant 170 Slant Six because the harness had been cut and spliced many times. I will get it from Year One because it's local to me. The points harness and electronic ignition harness are the same price. Is all I will need to add an electornic ignition control module, 73+ distributor from a (198 or 225), and a dual ballast resistor? Is the distributor going to fit since it's a 170 Slant Six that it's going into? I can get all the electronic stuff discount from a parts warehouse where I work which we keep in stock so that's no problem. Do I have to change anything besides those three parts? Do I have to change the ignition switch? Will I still use the same spark plugs?

Backwards answer:
Same spark plugs will work
Same ignition switch
All Slant 6 distributors are the same IIRC
Wiring should work, may want to check a harness diagram to make sure of routing

Here is an example of the switched wiring
