It's a 68 Plymouth Valiant Signet the paint code is SS1 but has been painted.

Does this look like sunfire yellow still ?
Want to do blow in's and touch ups.

Do you have a fender tag, or maybe the build sheet? Others may have a better answer.

Someone under coated under hood
But I'll look for the tag

The tag says SS1 which is sunfire yellow from what I can find. The seems to be paint once at least so dont know if that the stock color on it.

Was thinking of a color change but the yellow is growing on me. For now thinking of blowing in some spots and buff the rest and maybe flat black hood.

Is there any factory strips for the valiant?

It looks close, but seems a little too dark!! Could be that all I've seen is faded 40+ year old paint!!

I was hoping to touch up and buff to get a few years out of this paint and do a full body down the road.

Looks like a good 2000 wet and buff out will renew your paint.
When I bought my Barracuda, I thought it was orange. I buffed the car out
and discovered that it was actually red. Now it's really really red!
