I just installed a AEM Wideband gauge and I'm looking for some ballpark numbers to tune to.

I looked online and was wondering if the below numbers are a good starting point for my combo.

A/F Ratio @ Idle: 13.5 - 14.5
A/F Ratio @ Cruise: 13.5 - 14
A/F Ratio @ WideOpen: 12.5 - 12.8

Engine specs:
- 360 LA engine
- J heads (mild port)
- solid lifter cam, with adjustable rockers (mild performance cam)
- flat top pistons
- Edelbrock RPM AirGap intake
- Edelbrock Thunder AVS 650 Carb
- stock manifolds
- Dual exhaust with X pipe
- Mopar performance distributor

Engine is in a 67 barracuda with a 727.

Yes, decent ranges depending on fuel.

As far as WOT, best to do it via MPH at the track. Sometimes you can notice how the car runs and difference between the low and high range.

Don't take those ranges as gospel, they are decent, let car tell you what it likes.

Cruise I usually aim for 14.5 ish with a carb. WOT is pretty close, but I'll run it a little on the lean side for better throttle response, but it all depends on the use.

Drive in the winter on a carb? Run it on the fat side; that cold winter air has a LOT more oxygen in it.

Those numbers would definitely be good with a carb. If you can get close to those and then tweak it a little, I think you'd be very happy.

I have a wideband on my TQ carbed 408.

14.5-14.9 idle
15.4-15.8 cruise
12-13 WOT
