Hi Folks

Looking at these pictures, can anyone tell if this trans pan gasket is of the re-usable variety? It feels kind of rubbery, is .070 thick, but not super stretchy. Thanks.

I don't think it is a reusable gasket but I have reused them with rtv on a long weekend without any leaks.
A new gasket “kit” also comes with a new filter.
I think a reusable pan gasket has ribs on it and it is thicker.

Not sold as a reusable, but it looks in good shape. Clean everything, use the same pan without tapping any of the pan rail straight. Now install all the bolts loose enough to move the pan and gasket around so it will go back into position, now tighten bolts.

So u will have time to do it over? Not a chance I would use it over just to do it over again. Those gaskets go on dry, no sealer no nothing. Kim
Hence the question Kim. If it is re-uasble, then it is designed as such. This post was not to ask if I should cheap out and re-use a non reusable gasket. I would never do that........Save $20 on a $1000 build? Not a chance :)

Thanks for the pic. I did not know how to recognize one.
