Is this installed correctly?

Just got a hood to radiator support seal for my 68 Dart and installed it. I know this is a stupid question, but is this installed correctly? I couldn't find an installed pic online.

I could be wrong but I think it has to be flipped? So the "opening" is to the rear??
OR the seal mounts to the rear of the hood. Dads 67 cuda is like that

You have it exactly right.....opening to the front and the longer of the 2 edges down towards the engine.....I have an original car and just checked mine....
