is this right? Vinyl top trim

i was going to pull the vinyl top trim off this 71 demon to give to another member but something dont look right to me on the A-pillar piece....is this original???


the passenger side didnt have one to compare to ...and the car originally had the half vynil top

That little one on the A-pillar is not factory, it looks a rivit on it, the factory ones used a screw and were shiney chrome. The trim across the roof looks like it is from a later year, like maybe 73-up style? My guess is that this was all added on later or the front pieces were lost and replaced with a homemade piece.'

Rani that type of Vinyl top is called a Halo top. The a-pillar molding are not factory but the roof ones are if they are pins attached to the roof that the clips attach to.
