It Was a Great Day

Yesterday morning, after a cup of coffee, I hopped in the Dart and headed to Fredericksburg (Texas) for a gun show. Nice country road spin. I was tempted by a good deal on a Ruger Bisley Single Six but I need another 22, like... I left the show and hit a taqueria for a plate of fajitas then headed to a classic car dealer to browse their inventory. Some nice cars but no Mopars and a lot of nice C2 Corvettes (I used to own one). A nice early T/A 455 SD as well. I left there to loop back home and hit Luckenbach for a beer and some music. I arrived home to find my slow cooker chili verde done. My youngest son was home from college for the weekend so me, my wife, he and his fiance chowed big time. Wrapped the night with a few Bulleit Rye Old Fashioneds. Nice weather to boot.
