Hey all,

Well I ran the demolition derby this past Thurs. I got down to 4th out of 12 or 13 cars in my heat. I got tagged teamed against a wall until they broke my axle and broke the toggle switch on the dash from the dash bending. I will keep the motor/tranny, front bumper and leaf springs, plus a few other parts and this car is off to the scrap yard. Ive ran this car in 6 Demo derbies and have won $2100 with it. My next car is a 75 Chrysler Newport. Here some pics of the Gran Fury.

Your really not supposed to. but if it gets down to three of us and one is our buddy, who'd you go after? Just all part of the game a guess. I still had fun.

^^^^ Me either...

Of course when our shop burned to the ground a couple years ago I saved one of the aluminum HEMI valve covers my dad had. I just couldn't turn it in for aluminum scrap like I did the many sets of wheels and 6+ 6-71 supercharger set-ups I cashed in...

Everytime I look at those pictures of the supercharged HEMIs & shop all melted down it makes me :pukeleft:

72demon340 Time to put her to rest!! she has been a great mighty partner
for you and your fans.
I am sure I speak for all of us here that you have made us proud of your skills in the arena.:headbang:
She sure was a mighty Mopar.
Keep us updated on the 75 Chrysler build.:coffee2:

I'll bet you did have fun. I've got to try this some day.

Yeah, I got my 440 from an imperial that the guy was going to use in derby. He said they were the best cars to run, they were just so damn big and thick!

wow, i can see why you'd want to keep the front bumper but the leaf springs, i don't get it.

I can take the leaf pack and seperate them and add more leafs onto the 75 Newport to give it strength back there. There is nothing wrong with the springs, other than being pulled up from the frame. I could actually hadd 4 more to give me 10 springs on the back of the Newport and it will really strengthen up the back of it
