I have a set of J heads for sale. I picked them up at a sale and was told they had been gone through a couple of years ago and never placed on an engine. These show no sign of wear since rebuild. I will have pictures up later. There is no rocker shaft assembly on these. Asking $225.00 or best offer. I am located in Central California and prefer local pick up, but if you are willing to pay shipping. I will ship them. Thanks FABO

These are a little to much for a 318. Unless you are planning on upgrading bottom end also.

The open style combustion chamber design on these heads put onto a stock 79 318 will yeild pretty low compression( somewhere around 7.8-8:1) but help it breath better. I say leave the stock heads on if not touching the bottom end. If you up the compression ratio with new pistons these would turn up the heat on that ol 318.
