Daughters new to her 2014 Jeep Patriot, 2.4L. Its keeps throwing a p000a code, slow response from “a” camshaft position. I have pulled the VVT solenoid, seems to test OK using a 9v battery, cleaned it and reinstalled. Changed oil, looked really dirty first time so put Seafoam in and am changing again tonight. New plugs. Clear code, Goes 130-150 miles and code comes back. I think camshaft sensor is next step, can they be intermittent?
