jeep leak detection pump FILTER

i have a p0455 and p0442 evap leak, large and small. I added some air pressure to the line, the ldp filter is leaking. is it directional?

0455 also comes up as no flow according to a web search. Could this mean the purge valve is bad?
I have checked the lines and have not found any obvious leaks.

This is a 2002 grand cherokee 4.7.

You might check here in the 1st generation Durango common issues. Some EVAP issues / possible fixes may be similar. About a third way down the page.........
