OK so summitracing doesnt want to honor their code they sent out even though the experation date shows good till Aug 2010... Well Jegs will honor that same exact summit coupon. I used it lastnight and saved $250.

All you have to do it cut and paste the actual coupon and e-mail it to one of the sales reps. I emailed it to Ritchie Borror phone number is 800-345-4545 ext# 485 email addy is ritchie.borror@jegs.com I asked Ritchie if I could pass along the information and he said absolutly! I just told him I recieved the code in the summit catalog.

That would have been good to know about 2 weeks ago. I ordered a full ladder bar coil over kit from them for $800.00 :( O well.

How is that? My personal results is I've had much better luck ordering from Summit. At least they never forgot to send an order out to me like JEGS did then tell me tuff luck cause I asked them to ship it 2 day air on them since they screwed up. In my opinion their shipping guarantee isn't worth a plug nickel. Twice now I have forgot to add a part to my order with Summit and I called them up later in the day and even though they already sent out the order they sent the other parts with free shipping. But I will say that this coupon deal wasn't good for Summit's image.

Sorry to get off track from the original thread but after I've been crapped on twice by JEGS I have a bad taste in my mouth for them.
 
No way I would use summit and eat the $250 I saved using Jegs..... I dont care how good or bad their shiiping is. I just ordered $2500 worth of parts that had 4 huge boxed packed full of stuff and every single itiem I ordered was in those boxes.

That is a lot of savings and I'd be tempted to do the same for that large amount even in spite of how JEGS did me in the past. I said what I said in response to the comment made that JEGS is far and away better than Summit which I don't agree with. Sorry if that rubbed you the wrong way.

No worries Tracy... I have no affilation with Jegs or summit ... but I just wanted to share this information with u guys.

SO after using this coupon last nite and doing as instructed it did work...but then I got a call today and Jegs called summit and summit told them it is a fake coupon.....

So I just called ritchie at jegs and he said he did not honor summits coupon either.....

So dont know what to tell everyone but this is not true..... or at least is not anymore...

I took the printed coupon to Summit Racing back in December and saved $300. The coupon worked for several members on the internet and now it is fake. Wow. I go to Summit only because they are about 20 miles from my house.
 
Ya kind of irritating because I had a few coupons from diffrent shows that were 10% off but of course I cant find any......

But yes this coupon/code will not wrok with jegs or summit
they tell me this 18 hrs after my order was placed......hmm greattt
 
The code was in a new york hunting magazine only and someone put the code on the internet and exploited it and summit kept getting all these people using the coupon so they stopped honoring the code.

I am sure after jegs got a few people sending them the picture of the coupon that they finally caught on and looked into it and stopped honoring summits code to win the sale of the buyers.

how do I know? I also tried to use the code about 2 months ago and a summit employee argued with me about it for about a half hour and said there was no possible way that they would honor it.

so the code is junk anymore.

HOWEVER if anyone wants to save money at summitracing....send me a PM.

I have 2 coupon codes for spending so much money there.

each code is for $20.00 off a $100 or more purchase made at summit.

I would be willing to sell either $20.00 code for just $10.00! thats a $10.00 savings for whoever uses them....I just do not have plans of buying anything right away so I don't have much use for them.

I actually forgot I had the one and I just bought my new stall converter and could have used the code and when my stall converter showed up it came with another $20.00 off coupon and a little light bulb popped up above my head and i realized I had a coupon I could have used and saved some money!!!!! oh well lol....to late now
 
Hey USCG I talked to RItchie and he told me that he never said they would offer that coupon and it was ok to pass it on... Were you able to order items and they showed up?

Yeah I recieved all my items I ordered from them... Sorry to hear they are not honoring it anymore. I asked Ritchie if I could pass the info on and he said it would be fine... not sure what to tell ya man.. sounds like they are getting the greedy like summitt and not honoring what they told me to tell you guys. Sorry
