I've been looking for a good source of information on 60s Plymouth/Chryslers and I think this is it.
I've had a 66 Barracuda for a number of years. Did some restoration when I first got it but it's been sitting for quite a while. This year I finally got off my rear end and decided to get back to it.
My 66 was partially restored when I got it. The engine/transmission was replaced with a Chrysler 360 from a '73 Mopar (i'm not sure which one). The original was a 273 V8. The body was repaired and painted.
I'm now in process of getting it back into running condition. After that I'll redo the interior. The buckets need to be rebuilt completely. The carpeting needs replaced etc.
I could use some help in where I could look on the engine or transmission for identification numbers/codes to better identify them. As I continue on this project I'm going to need parts and it sure helps to know what model and year the engine/transmission came out of.
