K&N filter shrinkage ????

Anybody here have a K&N filter shrink on them? I am looking to get a filter for my MP air cleaner and it is supposed to be 12 3/4 OD. If it shrinks it will look terrible so I found one the is 13 1/8 OD so if/when it shrinks in theory it will not look as bad. What do you guys think?

Never had one shrink in 20+ years of using them,

There were guys on another forum talkin about theirs shrinking over 1/2 inch. I have never had an issue but I just didn't want it to happen this time as that is my luck.

Ive had several k&n filters over the past 15 years or so and have never noticed any shrinkage.
