So I'm clearing up some electrical issues so I figured, why not fix this!
For a few years, whenever I insert the key into the ignition on my 1970 Dart, it acts like I have already turned the Key to Accessory. The radio comes on, various switches that would be energized in accessory mode all work. Take the key out and it shuts down all this. Everything else works fine - turn the key to On - all OK, key turns to Start and it fires right up. What really puzzles me is that the key switch is mechanical and just actuates the electrical switch. What could simply inserting the key in the slot do to turn things on???
I'm ready to take it apart and replace the electrical switch, but thought I would throw it out here before I did.
