Finally got my car back together after wiring in a Grand Cherokee chime and the dumb switch that creates a ground path when the key is in the tumbler decided to die. This is the little micro switch under the tumbler in the steering column.

Looked around and so far can’t find a source for a new one. Anyone know where I can buy one, or have one for sale?

They show up on e bay on occasion not cheap.

Wasn’t having any luck with that last night. Looks like the trick is to google them using “key buzzer switch”. Much better results.

Found an NOS one...for $145 after tax and shipping. No thanks.

Does look like one from a later car might work if I splice the ends from mine on to it. Found those for as cheap as $45 total.

Heading to the yard this afternoon to see what I can find locally.

Thats the switch for the key in buzzer if I remember correctly. Im sure I can dig one up, have a bunch of columns and parts.

Yeah man I have one. How's $20 shipped sound.
Tested good and I put new terminals on it.
