I have the KH front disc, and I will be rebuilding them soon.

Since the hub and the disc are joined by the lug studs, once separated, instead of putting them back together is it possible, (or should I say a good idea?), to drill out the holes for the lug studs on the rotors so they slide on and off?

When I compare the KH brakes to one of my other cars, the disc is held on by the rim/lug nuts and kept centered by the hub- but not attached.

hmmm on a fixed caliper?

I don't know if I would be doing that, you DON'T want them too loose or you have some noise [possibly maybe more]

Doesnt sound like a good idea...Might have to do with some cars being lug-centric and some hub-centric

Doh, the rotor is behind the hub, oh well.
