There is absolutely no room for kickdown linkage on my race car. I would like the trans to shift automatically and consistently. If I tie the kickdown arm on the trans all the way back (full throttle position) I assume that the upshifts will be controlled by the governor and would be consistent. Now the big question: remembering that this is a race car only, no street use, is the transmission going to be damaged by having full throttle pressure at all times?

.........R u shifting this or r u leaving it in drive?........if ur leaving it in drive u do not have low band apply, whitch is not a good thing, especially when doing burnouts...TFs really dont like having ftp it eats up the sealing rings on the pump....and causes harsh engagement.....try tying it back , see if it likes it..........if u plan on freshing it every couple of years...........go 4 it........best is 2 get a manual vb..........kim.....
