but it might be worth asking. i have the remnants of an unknown steering column, somebody gave it to me years ago. was told it is for an a-body. my car is not here for me to compare it to, and my wifes car is buried. anyway, the turn signal switch has a tag on it still. doubt if it is a part number, but I have no idea. i was going to take some pictures of the column, but forgot the camera and now it is pouring out and I might melt if I get wet:toothy10::toothy10:. anyway the number on the tag is 2631383 along with the letters bp. i spent an hour searching all the wiring schematic and came up with nothing. any ideas?

Got a cd here with many parts manuals on it. I just did a quick check on a 66 Valiant/Dart, I found close was Part # 2631 331 - clamp, inst panel steering column for steering column Jacket section 19-14-0.:read2:

What year/model are you hopeing that #2631 383 part will work for and I'll try to look up for you.:read2:

was hoping to be able to use the columns off of it for my 69. the unknown column came from a floor shift car.....
