kyb shocks

why does kyb only offer one part number for the front of a-body's no matter what the suspension or engine size is. seems to me you would have a different shock for a slant 6 with drum brakes compared to a 340 or big block with disc's.are all shock manufacturers the same way?

Mostly,with the exception of Bilsteins,or Konis.You didn't state what you wanted to do in your application.A KYB gas shock is a decent piece,for the money.
