LA oil pan

Just remember that a 360 LA takes a different oil pan than a 273, 318 & 340 LA. A car pan has a front-favoring center sump.
360 has a smaller rear seal.

I thought 360 had the largest rear and front seal, same size... but I have been wrong before

Never heard of a 360 with matching front/rear seals. I believe 318 & 360 Magnums have 360 style pans, but I never messed with them. I don't know if Mopar ever made any 360 race blocks that took a 340 pan. But someone use to make a spacer to put 340 pans on a 360 to make up for the seal size difference.

360's have a smaller rear gasket seal. They have a small main cap OD. Fronts are all the same due to timing covers all the being the same 273,318, 340 all take the same pan. Different model vehicles and different aftermarket manufactures the pans have a different sump size and location.
