Never used a tig or welded aluminum so got someone else to do that but I will pay close attention.

Cheap tools like 80 bucks a pace. The best are 4,500 about.

Morning guys. I'm glad I'm not or ever was a bodyman especially now with all this new technology. With all this aluminum you guys are going to be real busy in the future once the aluminum starts to oxidize and the ground straps start to corrode spiking the computer. Ford always used cheap wiring especially back in the 70-80's. If you saw a vehicle on fire it was usually a Ford or it was rusted all to hell. Guess things never change do they. Just saying that if you combined Chev and GMC sales it would probably be about the same as Ford sales.

Nope I sent a text this week trying to get status, he replied he had to buff then put decals on. But no pix. I am trying not to drive over to Minnesota and look for myself. My self imposed deadline of bringing it home regardless of completion is fast approaching.

I don't know what type of paint he used but most if you wait to long is hard as hell to buff.
I can swing down and help put the glass in and doors together no problem.
