I have no idea my wife died before then, but I think the pill would screw up the normal balance of it.

My wife and I have always been very close. We made one rule when we first got married.
"Never let the sun go down on an argument.
We used the pill but after we were finished my wife went and had a tubal.
Menopause was pretty easy for her and hardly had any night sweats.
Some woman go through hell every 28 days.
Don't know what I'd without her

yeah, i get that..but for me its...dont feel like working anymore...PERIOD.. but, i'm sure when i hang them up in 3 years, i will be doing something. still thinking about media blasting as a retirement gig. Dustless blasting. Company out of Texas. I think i mentioned it before. Just something to pass the time and make me feel I'm worth something to someone still. Who knows, maybe i still have time to build my empire :lol:

its been at least 3-4 years for mine. I think she uses it as an excuse...opps..did i say that out loud! but..she's a good woman and comes from a good family. Lucky there for sure. ya know what they say....ya have to kiss alot of frogs to get to the prince.. and in my case princess

I'm going into year 20 now, with wife 2.0 and while there are times when I have to question my own sanity, I have no doubt that I would not be where I am now without her. She's been there for me plenty of times and I have been there for her as well. We don't have a lot, but we're still happy.
Wife 1.0 never seemed to be happy with anything after the first few years and made sure that everyone knew how unhappy she was.

energy vampires they are. suck the life right out of you. my wife can be like that as well sometimes but, i tell her to snap out of it, cause we have everything we always wanted. roof over our heads, food on the table and 3 straight and narrow kids ...so far...fingers and toes crossed
 
On a lighter note, looks like the next few days will be the last of this winter. 30s and some possible snow flurries until Friday, then we expect to see low 40s into the 50s by Saturday, 70s by Sunday. Not going to be holding my breath, but I will be looking forward to it.

ha i guess none of you have a ukraine wife ....best and worse thing that ever happened to me ....more best
she just turned 55 2 weeks ago ..i always buy a few year old car ,needs a little work fix it take her old car ,sell my old one
so she likes suv i'm a audi guy ...loved her last one ...was yelling at the little jerk (one of that things she is good at ) runs a red light totals it out
i fixed it and to punish her sold it ) has had a bunch of nice cars since so bought this sweet q5 on the cheep (10k) its dirty both bumpers need work but its this sweet blue
so on her birthday i borrow my friends dealer plate so she can drive it to do lady stuff ,hair nails,ect ...have the jerk trick her to get her to come to my shop
she shows up i happy birthday heres your new car .....she walks over open the door ...its dirty (wtf)...oh dear don't worry i already ordered new seats will have it cleaned when i replace them
she walks around it ...its blue yes honey don't you like it ...no....(well f-me)........i just cant win

Some days you win, some days you lose, other days, you're beat down with a big stick. Monday, I spent all afternoon, and $100 of the boss's money to replace more parts than necessary, to replace a $10 part, because it was poorly made.
