Looking forward to this day being over, like @Mark Wainwright it's the last day this week of 99 plus temperatures.
And also as I look back at least 15 straight here also.
Check up with my hart doctor this morning, then drive to my Kroger store for more fresh fruit, banners, peaches , lemons, cantaloupe and half dozen apples.. may grab up a fresh cought salmon for protein. Then back to the hill.
Going on 14 months now not drinking a beer, just a couple shots of bourbon over ice twice a week.
Have a good day everyone, live life like someone left the gate open today.

We should put a tariff on this “import”:

Call me a wimp, but I feel this **** in my throat, and so much for getting any work done on the shed tonight.

Edit: Not supposed to get any better until this weekend sometime.

It was bad here for a while but the rain and cooler temperatures have improved the smoky conditions at least out west here. Humidity is brutal today, 62% last I checked. More rain expected this weekend, there goes another Friday cruise night in Calgary with my brother. :BangHead:
Hope it gets better soon Jim.

I’m just PO’d, that’s all. Been hot and humid here lately, and now that the humidity has dropped, and the temp is “reasonable” (where have I read this lately? :):poke:), along comes a little “present” from Up North that will keep me in the house!

I’ll pickup some N95 masks on my way home from work tomorrow (I just ran out) and get out there tomorrow evening, as every night I’m not out there working is just one more night added on to when it will be done.

Hey! I didn’t see an update on this: Did you get the SC out yet?

Morning guys.
The temp has dropped a lot overnight and as soon as I was up the ac was turned off and the windows now open. AHHH that's much better.
Got a growling noise coming from the left front wheel on the 300. Just had the brakes replaced two weeks ago.
We're going away for the weekend up to my son's place so want to make sure there isn't a problem. The shop that did it is really busy and they don't work Fridays and will be on holidays for a week.
A 3 day weekend starting tomorrow.
Sorry guys but no health check so far this morning but I'll keep looking.
Have a great day

It’s so smoky here the birds have to walk where they want to go and hire a guide.

Would be funny if it wasn't almost true.

I heard on the MPR yesterday that, according to the EPA, Grand Marais (or maybe it was Two Harbors?) had the worst air quality on the planet for a while yesterday morning. There's a place in India that has consistently poor air quality (we've all seen the pictures), but for while there yesterday...."We're Number One!"

A dubious honor if there ever was one.

63 Fury is getting a complete glaze of bondo on it and block the **** out of it. All is being done with a hand block not using air sanders.

I did, and I have been putting some miles on it when I can, not afraid of it getting rained on, but hail is another story. The risk of severe thunderstorms has been pretty high lately, and that can include hail so it hasn't been out as much as I would like. I had last Friday off and was planning on going to Calgary to take in a cruise night with my brother, but the forecast wasn't very good. Thinking about it for tomorrow night again, but thundershowers are expected again. Wait and see how it turns out, but I do want to get up there at least once this summer.
The car is running better now with new plugs and wires, no question about it.

Nice! Yeah, I worry about hail myself with my Ridgeline and my wife's Lexus, but my old "bumpside" trucks with their 1/8" thick panels (only a "slight" exaggeration): Not so much! Would take a pretty big hailstone to put a dent in one of those old beasties.

Hey guys.
Been an excellent day for working.
No heat or humidity for a change.
Took the left front wheel off the 300 and couldn't see any reason for it to make noise.
I forgot how heavy those wheels are but I got it in place. Now my back is the one making noise haha.
We plan on hitting the road at 8am for the 3.5 hr ride.
Going cross country, no dam way I'm going through the Toronto Parking Lot at 9am Especially Bramladesh (AKA Brampton) a good place to avoid.
Sure is nice to have the windows open.
Have a great evening

Going North to Uxbridge then west through Newmarket and stop for a P break. Then through Orangeville to Arthur and north to Durham, west to Hanover then north to Chesley.
Then into the pool and relax haha.
