Mark these car shows you attend, do they charge you a fee to show your car? If they do I have a problem with that. They should be charging the people coming to view the cars. I’ve already paid my share in blood and money, making, fixing, rebuilding, so that I can enjoy it and show it with pride. They should be paying us. My opinion

No, the ones I go to during week is all free and most on the weekend also.
There is basically one I go to and is 5 bucks and it's for a kids park for keep up.
It's a once a year show and the place is packed.
I've got one next Sunday, it's at a retirement home and get this.
Free admission, free meals, a 15 dollar gas card each and 50 bucks for the winning entry picked by the people who live there.
I have said that myself about cars being free and the visitors paying. Some shows are just ridiculous asking anywhere between 20-30 bucks and then you have to drive to them.
My daughter wants me to go to her place one day but it's a 85 mile trip one way and then have to drive back home at night. And because I have a heritage plate on the Cuda I can't drive on a major highway.
Staying home tonight because it's just too dam hot This hot spell is supposed to break by Wednesday and hopefully some much needed rain.
Have a good one and keep cool. BTW it's feeling like 100 degrees right now
 
I quit taking my cars to any small time but fairly large car show after a buddy got a 1st place trophy in a stock class with his 440 6 pack 73 Cuda lol. I asked him if he felt good taking that trophy and he said 'sure'....

So dam cold downstairs I had a sweatshirt on.
Got the usual Monday night show tonight and we'll be under the tree for shade.
Hope there will be a breeze which will help.
