Hey, I resemble that!

I had red hair til about 20 years ago.
From what I read in history Jeff back in Bible times the army's would send there red heads into battle first and that pretty much cleaned up the on coming army. I have 3 kids with red hair and I think 7 grand kids with red hair and after dealing with them I believe the history I read is correct.

I would have my camera ready if you did drop your drawers and post it here. LOL
It would be nice to stop and see you my friend. Some day I hope we can all meet up.
That would be fun to try and time that and get a picture with a big old sign that says "Hi Fred" those trains are pretty consistent baring complications.

Yes That would be fun for sure BP would enjoy that and would be better to stop the train and meet you and your bride and girl friend at the bar. LOL

Been working more on my Harley resto lately. Have to have it finished and running with miles on it before August... just awaiting the motor build now... ugh
When you get it done bring it over here I can help put some miles on it for you. lol
Seems like the last picture I saw of it you were getting close to being done. what else needs to be done besides the engine?

I can tell you that they are not 67. Wrong grills for 67 as far as I can tell. Stainless windshield trim wasnt on 67 either.
67 has finned hood bling too.

Those both look like 68's to me. How would I know, you may ask? I refer you to my FABO name!
I'm 5 pages behind so maybe already talked about.
Me thinks me sees Formula S badges on the reddish one driver fender, and the hood louvers appear to have call outs on them, not just ribbed in the middle.

Thats pretty much it. I'm finishing up all the wiring now. Once i have the motor everything will just about fall together. Then the shake downs begin....

Fred - sorry to hear about your cousin. Hope all goes well, and you have nice travels in light of the trip's purpose.
Tonight/tomorrow forecast: rain/snow mix, a glazing of ice, 20-30mph winds.
My wife's Grandma passed away last Friday at 96, and funeral is tomorrow.
Oh well, what do you do.

My condolences 68 .

Celebrate. That's what you do 68. Hopefully she didn't suffer. 96 is old enough. I hope you and your wife aren't too saddened by her passing. Is her husband (grandpa) still alive. That's the hard part being alone.

Grandpa's been gone since 88.
She's been in nursing home for quite some time with Alzheimer's, but she didn't get the nasty mean streak that can happen.
She was almost always happy, and didn't take any medication to speak of.
Went into hospice about a week prior, pretty sure she made up her mind it was time and quit eating and drinking anything.
She lived a long good life, so not really a sad passing.
My wife's other Grandma is still alive at 97.
My Grandpa made it to 100 before passing.
We got some "live long" genes in the family pool for sure.
