There ya go CF did just what you thought. LOL

Wonder what my wife is gonna say when I start washing pistons in the bath tub. She already freaked a little when she came home from work early and I was boiling a timing chain on our stove :)
When I was 17 I moved into an apartment with another guy that put his Harley in the living room and put the engine in the tub. Have you ever taken a shower with a Harley? or tried to watch TV through a set of front wheel spokes? LOL
Had to hide my pots and pans so he wouldn't boil parts in them.
Yea BP if I was your wife I'd kick your butt.:poke:

I'm pretty small BP and skinny so I think even if your wife was 4' tall she'd kick both of our asses. lol

I have had a Harley in my living room for most of my adult life? My Older Brother 62 still has a 38 knuckle we built him in his living room. Of course he lives alone with his hound? Not sure the correlation! Hah! Dishwasher, oven, living room. All just necessities for parts care! Hah!
You bet the house is good for storing parts and washing parts and the garage is the operating room so the garage stays clean and organized.

The timing chain on the Impalas 327 was loose. I have a newer double roller but it had a little surface rust. I soaked it in evaporust. Man I am sold on that stuff. I boiled it in water and now it is soaking in sythetic oil waiting for instalation.

Wouldn't be the first time LOL. I'm pretty sure she broke a rib but I was protecting her from another guy while she was kicking me. WTF

Never tried it must be good.

Gonna go pound some clear on the Bultaco tank. Got the perfect buzz for clearing. LOL

Had a great day here I got one leaf spring painted and the rest of the day was down hill from there. lol

No leaf springs were only about 5 years old I'm guessing. I striped the paint off and etched primed and then enamel paint. real hard to sand blast in winter here so I do what I can and hope for the best. Should last longer than me I think. LOl

Gun is clean, shop is secure, Grill is heating up. I'll hand paint a pin stripe tomorrow. Just like the factory did.

Sounds to me like the pine cone with no lube up the back side.
