I know you'd love to get it finished but he's letting you use the shop so have to work on it when you can. It's going to look really good once finished. Have a great day Fred and keep cool. They are saying it will feel like 40 with the humidex and possible rain/thunderstorm later so car show may be cancelled. Have to wait and see what happens. We finally turned the a/c on yesterday. My wife hates to close the windows after being shut in all winter.

I know how she feels I like waking up to cool fresh air in the morning.
Well I hope it stays dry for the show. We have another parade on Saturday and hoping for no rain. I'm off so have a grand day my friend.

You wrap sparklers tight with tape. the clear packing tape works best as it does not stretch. they usually use duct tape after the packing tape. Now these are the real sparklers not those fake paper ones. Two three boxes of them wrapped tight and leave one poking up a couple inches in the middle for a fuse. Light the fuse and get the hell away. I've seen 6 foot fence posts fly thirty feet. Not sure what the most amount of boxes they have used but just one box is really loud.
Now... do you want to know how to make an acetylene bomb?

Well I’ll let you know when I try it , oh ya done the acetylene thing ,made one the size of a pillow case ,that sucker rattled the windows for a block ! It was awsome!

Yeah... I took and empty welding rod tube and filled it up with acetylene and some oxygen and sealed it up with a fuse. Then I lit it and tossed in the gas station bay next door to where I worked. We were always playing jokes on each other. One day they were marking the roads and of course they were putting down cones while the paint dried. The guy I worked with grabbed a cone and put a layer of butyl tape on the bottom of it and stuck it to the road. It was a riot when the guy comes along sitting on the platform bending down to pick the cones up. We had a lot of laughs at that place.

Morning Mark nice day here and gonna get hot so not sure if I will paint the car today.
Sunroof and back panel is done and going to buff it this morning.

Morning Fred. Going to be a hot one today but also calling for rain. If it holds off I'll be going to a car show here in town at the Jiffy-Lube. Free BBQ and prizes. The guy puts it on every year and is supposed to be good. If it's that hot there they'll be a lot of humidity and moisture in the air so maybe hold off and just buff your sunroof etc. You're the expert so I have no idea. Whatever you do have a great day doing it.

Just checked the weather channel and says 26 today and only 30% chance of rain and possible 40% chance of rain at 1pm so looks like a go.

Was just on the weather channel and they say southern California just had a 7.1 earthquake.
Got a parade today but not gonna stay long. Free BBQ sounds good Mark.

Wow...California is really getting hit with earthquakes lately. Just hope nobody gets hurt or killed. Buildings can be rebuilt bodies can too if not too severe. We had one here about 15 yrs ago and was only a 4 but that was scary enough. Is this parade for July 4th or some other occasion?

As far as I know never had an earthquake here.
Annual small town parade nothing fancy.
