You have some nice toys SLO
My son is flying his new plane from California to here today if all goes well so I'm a little concerned. But kids always have me on edge with some of the things they do.
The only problem is not a lot of shops are restoring cars around here anymore and is usually a 1 to 3 year wait till it gets finished.
I do have a friend at a Chevy garage that does restoring and is good. I can see if his shop has time to do it. SLO met him at dinner at my house.

I can see your concern Fred. A bit nerve wracking for sure. It would have been air certified but still a concern. Hope he has AAA lol
LOL for sure Mark. The engine was just rebuilt and was was given the OK to fly sticker yesterday so should be fine I'm more worried of him coming over the mountains with all the nasty air currents.

My son said they ran into air currents when flying into San Francisco yesterday.

How long does your son think it'll take to fly back home?
About 7 hours fly time and will have to stop for fuel once. Is your son on vacation Mark if you don't mind me asking. Lots of good sites over there.

Yeah on holidays. He's rented a camper so no hotel bills etc. He wants to go to Alcatraz before it closes. He and his squeeze will be traveling all around. It was warmer here yesterday than where he was. Going to be really warm here today so turned the a/c back on. Keep cool and have a great day.

You'll do fine Biff Just start pushing buttons on the computer or phone and cross your fingers, that's what I do. And if that doesn't work I have a hammer to motivate the problem. lol

Morning Fred... Going to be a lovely day here too. Not too hot and humid. I'll be cutting grass myself. Car looks really good Fred. Even better when finished and sitting idling or doing a burnout. What have you decided to do about the motor? Warm it up a bit or go whole hog on it? Have a great day. It'll be perfect for the car show tonight.
I been talking to Johnny Mac on a Blue Print 408 engine and I can buy a turn key engine from him for about $8,000. I really think that's the best way to go.
