A friend of mine taught me this trick, instead of cutting the holes out for say the seats or seat belts with a knife , what you do is position the carpet in the proper place then from the bottom go up through the hole with the wood burning tool , it not only makes a perfect hole but it also keeps the hole from fraying . This is the one I used.

Grass is probably wet from the dew anyway and not good for the deck. Rots them out fast.

I drink a beer when I mow but bottled beer. I have a rough yard and was drinking out of a glass once and got soaked. lol

Sitting with my mother-in-law while my wife goes to mom's house and starts the move. Need to mow also. We need to find a sitter for her cause there is a lot of "guy" things that need to be done and the other "guys" in the picture are not up for the jobs or are just too busy.

Heat is a killer for sure. I was told California just passed some new laws that you can't say man hole cover anymore there now call access panels. And can't say brother or sister now it's sibling.
