Morning Fred... Yeah to the Dr at 12:15. The swelling is starting to diminish but left is more swollen than the right. It'll be nice to get back to normal. Probably not enough drugs to get me back to normal lol

Looks like a nice day sun will be out all day so might get everything winterized.

You will have to let us know the problem the doc finds if it's gout or what.
It seems odd to me that your hands would swell up like that.

I believe it's going to be a nice day here too.
The school kids will be disappointed today as the school boards settled a strike just before the deadline.

My Dr is really smart and he'll know what the problem is. He's very direct and to the point and to be honest he's the only guy that sort of intimidates me. I do get him to laugh at times and his secretary says he has a great sense of humour but at work it's all business.

Had a doc at or local clinic the guy would go shooting rifle with me and was a blast to be around but he would tell you like he saw it and pissed off a bunch of women telling them they needed to loose some weight and he got fired.

Bought the carb new last summer so no miles on it maybe a 1,000.
Gonna list it for $300 on here. I hate selling stuff just not good at it.

Well guys...I feel like a pincushion. First the dr asked me if the same drug companies made the drugs that I'm on for the last 3 prescription and they all have so that ruled that out. He thinks he can rule out gout from the blood work the other day. He's looking at the possibility of Polymyalgia rheumatica or PMR. You'll have to look that up but it's an inflation of the joints. He also tested me for West Nile on a long shot. He's put me on Prednazone for a month and have to see him every two weeks for the next 2 months. I'm at the point I'll try anything. Anyway guys that's it in a nutshell for now but I'll keep you posted.

Hope you don't have to put up with it to long that really sucks.

Whatever it is it sure does suck. Sorry your going through this. That Prednazone is some powerfull stuff. Hope it works and you can get off of it or find something better without side effects though they all do have side effects. I didn't think it was gout which is pretty controllable with diet. I quit medical school before I learned about PMR so no help there.:rolleyes:

My wife is on prednizone for her arthritis , Hope it helps you Mark.
 
Wholly crap you would think in today’s day and age that doctors wouldn’t have to guess or wonder with all the new technology out there , they kinda make me up set , bring your car to a mechanic shop they put the wrong weight oil in and omg your an idiot your going to ruin the hole car , but go to a doctor he puts you on the wrong pills ,let’s you try 2/3/4 different kinds we all just go along with it and accept the fact there doctors, :bs_flag:
