Homemade apple cider sounds good warmed up with some cinnamon.
3" now looks like it might get past the 6" mark before it slows down.

My wife collects Lilliputt Lane Collectables and she found a good deal on Kijiji. We called about it and made the deal so we took off at 9:30 this morning to St George's Brant County (you probably know where that is FOG). Had a great drive and the Toronto parking lot wasn't too bad actually. The day was lovely and sunny for the 2 hr drive each way. My wife is thrilled with the 11 pieces she bought. Great day in all

Always nice to be a part of each others life in what you like or your wife.
Must be a nice feeling knowing you both stand behind each other in what you both do.
Might find me a gal like that someday.

I was very lucky as I'm sure a lot the guys on here feel the same way. So sad you lost your soul mate Fred but she's always in your heart.

that the way me and the missus are

I always keep my eye out on the local craigslist for free stuff (and certain other things)
2 weekends ago I came across a headboard perfect for my boy
and it was in a city we lived in when she was studying back before we had kids

so we drove out there, about an hours drive to pick it up
it turned into an entire day deal, we stopped and looked at the house we used to live on
then we walked over to the lake behind the house and just let the kids play there for a while
(shes the youngest of four, so when we lived there we used to have her oldest sisters kids over all the time)
it was crazy to think how much has changed in a decade
her dad died 4 or 5 years ago, and we were reminiscing about when we used to take the nephews out on the boat, fish on that lake and then have her dad cook the bass and bluegill over a bonfire

after that we had to stop by the local Chinese restaurant

at that point, getting the headboard for free was just gravy

Hope you don't get to much more. And I hope that crap steers north of Wisconsin.. to damn early to deal with that! Forecasts here are all over the place.. 6" of snow to just rain.

Screwed up weather for sure. Gonna snow more around 1 am tomorrow and lots more. Hope it doesn't happen.
