I remember a story of a Big Horned Sheep getting inside of a hotel somewhere around here.
I had a deer in my garage one warm winter day. I believe she could smell my apples while I left the garage door open. Scared the snot out of me when she came bolting out. She slipped on the icy driveway and slid right by me. Ill never forget how big her eyes looked as she skidded just feet away from me.
Back when I had a hot tub and in it, a deer came close enough to me that I could have slapped her. That was kind of cool.
Best wishes for a good day for all who take time to read my rambling.

Diane and I were driving up North near Algonquin Park and suddenly a dear came out right in front of us and crossed the hwy. He/she was very close to the car and I could honestly say I could see the white of it's eyes and the brown streak behind it. Maybe that was me LOL. Then on the way home we were driving and there was a turkey running down the soft shoulder of the road. He was going at a fast pace just booting it. He never blinked an eye just kept running as I passed him.

Damn Turkey drivers always driving on the shoulder or sidewalk.
If it was me driving I would tell my wife to open her car door and hit the turkey in the back of the head with the door and turkey dinner for sure. lol

Reminds me of that old joke... If you don't like the way I drive then stay off of the sidewalk. LOL

You ever eat one of those wild turkeys Fred? I here they are hard to cook right and are super tough.

Not much of a fisherman Fred but I'd like to do more of it. Lots of Pike around here. Not much Walley on this end of the state. I think Fort Peck reservoir has Walley and lakes East of the divide.
When I was a kid we did alot of salmon snagging but the gobberment biologist messed that up for us. Not a salmon to be had in the Flathead river drainage these days. Long story. Fort peck would be about a half way meeting for you and me I think. Never fished it but have hunted around it once and the bad lands.

weather man said 3" of snow today but we have 3" now and snowing pretty hard. Looks like I will be snow blowing again soon. :BangHead:

Don't fish much ether or hunt but a friend of mine gave me some Walleye and not sure the best way to cook it
We need to go to my sons place in Alaska for good Salmon I think.

Global warming out break Hawaii just got an inch of snow in the mountains. That should make the price of pineapple go up and shut everything down there.
