Nite Fred , cf after my last buddy passed away I changed my mind about going to anymore funerals, and having my own ,sorry for your loss .
I've been very lucky, I've only lost one good friend. He was a crazy outfit and always had us laughing at his antics. Other than that so far so good.

Morning Mark nice day here so far wind is going to pick up to 50 mph but good so far.

Sorry for delayed response Fred, between messing with the hound and a bunch of dignitaries at work I am just now catching up after a couple days. I can check on the size of my compressor. It is as tall as I am? Hah. The inners come painted with some kind of heavy primer? I also ordered that radiator core support piece. Remember the lower one I was showing you that looks like a dog ate it. I was going to cut out the offending rippled section then weld in some flat stock. The more I looked at it the deformation went up the contours as well. This thing is turning into a full on rotisserie build I swear. The more ya grind the more ya find!

Yea the lower core support is kinda nasty. Always find more to fix and always takes longer but your car is worth it. Probably should do the trunk as well and the under side. Never stops but you'll be happy.

Just was looking at the lower core support on mine looks like a piece of cake to replace. I think we can get the inners and lower in in one day and not sure how much work to get the engine bay painted but shouldn't be to bad.

Darn Mark now I'm craving fish and chips. lol
They were quite good and the strawberries just finished the meal.
I looked at a box of Capt Hindgrinder but looked at the ingredients and was processed in China so I put that one back. Don't trust any food processed in China, India Thailand etc. They don't seem to follow our rules and regulations for cleanliness etc.

Winter storm warning here. It was coming down hard when I went to bed. Looks like about 4 inches and still snowing this morning. Sorry about your friend CF. Like Mark I have been lucky. Been to a lot of funerals lately but only one was young and it was the coolest funeral I've ever been to. I probably keep going to them. I have a few friends that quit going but they are older and just tired.
My one old friend is 88ish and said "why should I go to their's, they aren't going to mine" LOL Hes a funny old fellow.

I think it was China that was sending honey over here that was not real and orange juice.

Not surprised Fred. They have no respect for rules and regulations either. My former boss invented The Boot Brush that installs on the saddle tanks so the driver can brush his boots/shoes off before getting into the cab. He made arrangements to have then manufactured in China. The sales were going well until that same company did a small redesign on the Boot Brush and renamed it and put it on the market at a lower price. You can't trust them

Ya that rocky mountain front got hammered. It has to be one of the most beautiful landscapes in this country but man does that wind come off of those mountains and into the prairie and headed straight to Freds house. We didn't have a breath of wind. The snow is accumulating on the wire fence. It's supposed to clear up and get warm here. Sunny and 50 F. I probable wont be sitting on my deck reading a book though. I'll be back on the roof. I'm going to barrow my nephews harness though. Pretty sketchy up there. Got some energy in my bellly and headed to the shop and get some color down on a two- tone so it will be dry when I come back from the dentist.

HAVE A GREAT DAY LADIES AND GENTLEMEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya I can do that Fred. It's just that Bultaco tank. Man that snow is heavy. They already had 2 roofs cave in at the University of Montana and one little store uptown in Missoula. U of M is in Missoula too. Got the yellow down on the Bultaco. Did a little bench mix with some stuff I had laying around so that helped the guy out a little. Looks pretty good. Got one little spot I'll sand and re-dust. This tank is a pinhole nightmare right from the factory. Having some tea, more shoveling and off to get my choppers cleaned.

Wow pretty heavy snow your way to cave in roofs.
Yea I thought you were working on the chevy but still would like to see the tank.
Painted the rear end in the scamp yesterday now got to paint the springs so I can get it back under the car.

Those roofs caved in a couple days ago. What I meant to say is that this new wet snow is really going to exacerbate the situation.
You are really kicking butt on that car. What did you paint the rear and springs with?

Oh **** yea that's gonna complicate things for sure.
The rear end I painted with POR-15 because of some rust pits. the springs are new and not sure yet but I thought just rattle can enamel. The rear end someone rebuilt not long ago so all the internal parts are in great shape.
