I am heading to Ft. Leonardwood in Missouri for the weekend to attend classes and get another instructor tab. Going to body shop today to check on Demon. My goal is to simply look and not speak. Don't want to turn into "that guy" over the lack of progress.
Sounds like fun I would think Missouri would be pretty hot this time of year.
Painters get pissed when they get rushed on a job I don't know if they gave you a date on when it would be done but most shops do restorations as a fill in for slow times to keep the boys busy.
I want to see it done so if they can get it painted I would be a happy camper to come down and help you put it back together my friend.

He gave me a date but I knew he was lying because his lips were moving. I am giving him an additional 30 days beyond promise date before I squak

My youngest boy made it to Washington today and he and grand pa put on the Tee shirts I set out. Andy is 83 I think and a great guy still rides his peddle bike about 3 miles a day and has a 91 Corvette rag top that he drives to shows.

You've got a long fuse my friend.
I agree Mark but hard to find someone to restore an old car around here from what Iv'e seen.
We still get guys from a few States away wanting there cars restored here. It's a lot of work and that's fine with me but the chemicals in the old paint and dust from stripping it is hard on the old body. You all got to remember the old paint contains stuff that is hazardous and even if newer paint it's still bad. I am not trying to be on the guys side that is painting SLO's car he made the mistake of saying when it would be done and that pisses me off that he can't deliver when he said he can.
Sorry guys just my 2 cents. Monsanto is being sewed for some chemical that has infected people but some of the paint co. need to have the same thing done to them for killing a bunch of my friends.

Again sorry guys I just lost an old friend today that was a painter and a great guy.

How old was he ?
I think he was 65. He liked to fish in tournaments and was funny to watch him he would strip down to his undies in the boat when it rained and stuff his cloths in a plastic bag and keep on fishing. He liked Cheetos, and at work in the candy machine me and another guy would buy all the Cheetos when they filled the candy machine and hide them from him.
You would have liked him FOG he was a great guy and a good friend. RIP Raizer.

Yes sir sounds like he was a fun guy, 65 is way to young.

Morning Fred... yeah mine too. My son and his family just left for Darien Lake. We told the boys they were going to the Poo Museum. They can swim in the swimming poo with Mr Hanky (Hidi Hi)
