Sure taking them a long time getting your house done.
Heading to the body shop to get some material gonna paint my tranny today I hope. I have to order engine paint and hoping to have engine and tranny in next week.
I remember years ago the State was painting all of there trannys with Imron. Tough stuff. I think it's made by Dupont. Limited color choice.

weve had some impressive winds here too
the roof blew off my AC cover structure (a reminded to put a few screws in it) and one tree blew down across the front lawn
took the little girls swing down, other then that, no damage, but the boy will have some more fire wood to haul
Glad to hear you don't have any damage . Wind is still blowing over here this morning .

Painting my tranny with Epoxy primer then base clear.
The clear is just a cheap ProSpray but should be just fine.
Almost stupid to paint it but what the hell.

Ya it was the gravel\salt trucks that they were having corrosion problems on the trannys. Does kind of seem like a waste on your car but like you said, what the hell. What color? Be fun to paint it some off the wall color.

I have left over paint from a job and using it. Silver the same color as the gas tank So it all matches real pretty. lol

Might paint the drive line an off color maybe candy cane stripe it. lol

Speaking of drivelines, It's amazing how thin aluminum drivelines are. I've seen them damaged in accidents. Torn open like a soup can. Full of foam too. I bet there is quite a bit of gain in performance by using one.
