My thoughts exactly. And people give Chrysler crud for no longer being American owned. It's heck of a lot better than the double sided car makers, willing to destroy America, it's people, and ideologies.
He’s not jokingMorning guys.
Well we didn't get any rain or rain/snow mix as predicted but the temp did go down the shitter again overnight.
Today we find out if we get hit with a 25% tarif or not. Hopefully he's just rattling the cage.
Have a great day and keep warm
Yea I'm pissed about the 25% mark up on my favorite whiskey. Hope it doesn't happen. He’s not joking

I went shopping today and I only go grocery shopping once a month. I bought a few bottles of Black Velvet for just in case the price goes up.Just stayed inside today.
Nice and sunny but freezing
That ratchet strap idea, works like a charm. No fiddling with hooks, quick, effective and no damage to wood. Why didn’t that idea come to me soonerI went shopping today and I only go grocery shopping once a month. I bought a few bottles of Black Velvet for just in case the price goes up.
Damn good idea. I use ratchet straps on putting my tranny in my Scamp and works really good. That ratchet strap idea, works like a charm. No fiddling with hooks, quick, effective and no damage to wood. Why didn’t that idea come to me sooner View attachment 1716360705
Poor yourself a drink and tell the boss I give you the rest of the day off.Stayed home from work today, except to check on a client, and get ready for next week. Was going to fix a roof, but it's windy, and cold. Was going to continue a remodeling project, but got late in the afternoon. Figured I've been working too much lately, putting in full days, could use a refresh.

Know what you mean, Friend took a remodel job for a rev room. He asked me if I would help stupid me said okStayed home from work today, except to check on a client, and get ready for next week. fat fingers and trying to fix a watch
Tell mom happy birthday for me and a hug for making it to 92. Hope she can make it to 100.Went from 50* on Wednesday to 7* today with a 20 mph north wind, butt numbing cold at the park with my dogs this afternoon. I had to change a flat on my wife's car this afternoon, then did some grocery shopping while my wife was cleaning the house.
Taking mom out for dinner tomorrow for her birthday, she's 92 on Tuesday, still getting along pretty well.

Dealing with are parents is a pain at times but they are worth the effort. Mine are gone but MIL. I don't want to be here when I can't take care of myself.Agreed with Fred, FIL will be 93 on the first day of spring still living by himself with lots of help from us. Has home care 4 days a week. Don’t know how much longer he can do this. Don’t know how much longer my wife can do this. Hoping the Doctor fast tracks him into the nursing home soon.
Agreed all are gone but FIL and he refuses to go to the old folks home. I blow his snow so wife can get in to cook and clean for him, I do the house maintenance, home care to wash his butt for him. Very taxing on us. It was easier raising my two boys than dealing with that stubborn old fool. Sorry for venting but the old fool makes me nutsDealing with are parents is a pain at times but they are worth the effort. Mine are gone but MIL. I understand Murray And that's why I don't want to be a burden on my kids...Agreed all are gone but FIL and he refuses to go to the old folks home. Wow she is doing really well.My mom is still very active and still looking after her own home, cooking cleaning, etc. Stepfather doesn’t do much to help around the house besides mow the lawn and clear the snow. My wife has been helping with the gardening for the last several years and I built those two raised gardens so that mom doesn't have to get down on the ground so much. Mom still has her Thunderbird Super Coupe, but can't manage the clutch anymore, and she has been talking about giving it to me. It's a 1989 model with around 62k original miles on it. Last year she bought a 1996 Mustang convertible for a fun car. I come by the car sickness naturally, lol.
