Morning Mark, looks like I'm putting new brakes on truck today and an oil change.Morning guys.
It got to a blistering 4c yesterday and mostly overcast.
Today is supposed to be a bit warmer and maybe the sun will poke it's head out occasionally.
Probably a Costco day today. Take my wife for a free lunch tasting samples haha.
Have a great day and an even better weekend
Wow 6 days without power, that sucks.Good morning guys, took the motor out of my Barracuda in December to have the cam changed for a more street friendly version, was hoping to put it all back together this month because it should be warmer, our ice storm messed all plans, power was out for 6 days, this week my wife and I spent cleaning up the yard, well we got 25% of it done, 1 hour lineups at the dump to get rid of brush, may get the Barracuda back up and running by June, goodness, Mother Nature is some upset this year.
This morning we’re removing all of the straw above the septic (winter insulation) and hauling that off to the City recycling center. Might be “interesting” using my left hand with the stitches still in, but we have to get it all done this weekend.Morning guys.

Be careful using that hand Jim.This morning we’re removing all of the straw above the septic (winter insulation) and hauling that off to the City recycling center. Might be “interesting” using my left hand with the stitches still in, but we have to get it all done this weekend.
Hope y’all are doing something more interesting than this!
That sounds like a nasty storm you had.We were lucky at only 6 days without, some are still out 2 weeks after the storm.
Actually doing exactly the same jobs, except I just pile it up in the field and burn it. Take it easy on that hand, I know what ripped Stitches are all about. Make it a good one guys. This morning we’re removing all of the straw above the septic (winter insulation) and hauling that off to the City recycling center. Done! We had a pretty good rain here a few days ago and everything was wet and heavy, not to mention somewhat moldy in places underneath. No way we could have burned it.Actually doing exactly the same jobs, except I just pile it up in the field and burn it. Take it easy on that hand, I know what ripped Stitches are all about. I use flax straw, to pokey for mice, and drains pretty goodDone! We had a pretty good rain here a few days ago and everything was wet and heavy, not to mention somewhat moldy in places underneath. No way we could have burned it.
But it’s done, there were no “mouse houses” (for once), and the hand actually feels pretty good!
Can't you change the cam without re and re the motor?Good morning guys, took the motor out of my Barracuda in December to have the cam changed for a more street friendly version, was hoping to put it all back together this month because it should be warmer, our ice storm messed all plans, power was out for 6 days, this week my wife and I spent cleaning up the yard, well we got 25% of it done, 1 hour lineups at the dump to get rid of brush, may get the Barracuda back up and running by June, goodness, Mother Nature is some upset this year.
Mark, I don’t think I could, but changing to power steering and had to repair the headers, with a 383 in an a-body have to take the motor out to get the headers out. Can't you change the cam without re and re the motor?
Or did you want to reseal it also?
