Went out this morning for some shopping.
After lunch I went to the cemetery and took the poppies down. Supposed to take them down right after 12pm.
It's better than yesterday out there.
Tomorrow will be rain, who knew?
My wife has been going through things in the storeroom. She just showed my all the Matchbox and Dinky toys I had way back. I brought them with me from England in 1957 when I was 8yrs. Yes, they sure have been played with.

need pictures of the Matchbox and Dinky's. I was at a resale shop ages ago and bought a box full for twenty-five cents each. they were played with but neat! I think one had white tires. some were Corgi's. all gone now

Working on the 63 Fury a bit today and trying to site down the left side to see how straight it is has been a pain.
Getting old sucks, my eyesight is getting worse. Need a younger body man here to check it out.

Dug the deep black abyss known as the north west corner of my shop out this morning. Dug out my sons drum kit loaded it up and hauled to his place. Gained about 10 sq ft of real-estate, big difference in a small shop.

Organizing my shop yesterday and hit my head on my favorite wall hanger and had to take a break and let the pain die down.

I reckon my eyes aint any better. I'd love to stop by and have a peek at your whiskey bottle. LOL I don't know what you do but I spray them down with solvent to make the surface shiny. I then mark the wiggles and keep on blocking.

Working on my finger joint boxes and other wood working projects I have found my finger tips see more than my eyes ever will.

Yea I do the same just can't focus enough before the solvent dries.

Kind of like Ahoey says I'm just relying on techniques'. If its critical, I've been priming twice. I just do collision work for now. Pre-accident condition seems to be commercially acceptable for everybody.

Been that way for me for many years. Just get it done and make it look half assed. I'd really like to make one car be the best I can do after all the years of no one will see the bad spots. IDK Charlie just once do the best I can.

I have to think there are very few "bad" spots on your scamp. Nothing is perfect.
