This is getting ridiculous! I keep getting phone calls from "the police" regarding this and that, and long story short: If'n I ever disappear from around here it's because I've actually been arrested after telling them: "If you're really the police, come and arrest me, asshole! Otherwise, **** off!"

Common spam/phishing calls, nothing more, and I've been getting them for years.
But the frequency with which they call has risen dramatically (annual Christmas fundraiser for the scammers?), so I've taken a new tack...

If you mean the state patrol, they are like the RCMP here not? and the RCMP do not call you if they want to talk to you it WILL be face to face, they come and talk or pic you up to talk at the station.

"The police" say I have unpaid parking tickets (Nope!), unpaid speeding tickets (Ditto!), and on, and on, and on. At first I used to engage with them, as I thought it was kinda funny to hear them squirm a bit to "prove" their case to me over the phone, but now....
Lately the calls have been coming from New Mexico and Arizona.

I got a notice in the mail yesterday that I got an unpaid parking ticket that was dated back it 2016.
Don't think they would wait 9 years to send me a notice in the mail.
